One of the things i always liked about the whole Hot Rod movement is all the exposed metal and sweeping lines of pipes and body panels.
Inspired by that and some ship designs of Star Citizen I gave a shot to some kind of mix between the two, taking the pipe aesthetic to the absurd. While at the end of the day I didn't like it enough to get it to at least a greybox state, it was still a pretty worthwile experience of playing around with blender curves and curve modifiers to achieve this kind of look that i used in some other projects down the line.
Maybe one day I'll revisit this style of ship, as I never really did the internal engine part, and its usually the most cool looking area of a ship in games like Mass Effect, so I want to try and come up with my take on it in this particular aesthetic.
